Lab Stats Pack is a Windows®-based laboratory QA/QC package. Currently over 80% of the nuclear power plants and numerous fossil power plants in North America use Lab Stats. Lab Stats is such a powerful tool that a mining company and a tire manufacturer have recently become users. Lab Stats is not your simple, basic, control charting software. Indeed Lab Stats provides many features that do not exist on normal, run-of-the-mill control charting software.

Imagine a Quality Control program for the laboratory that is backed by a users group. Thanks to the Lab Stats Users’ Group, which meets annually, Lab Stats is a living and evolving software package. Based on the Lab Stats users’ group feedback, Scientech’s dedicated staff incorporates changes, designs new features, and develops “bolt-on” applications tailored to the customer’s needs.

Lab Stats Pack (LSP) provides an easy interface for QA/QC Program Administrators to develop control charts for the following:

  1. Stable - Fixed
  2. Stable – Moving
  3. Stable – Zero
  4. Stable – Spike
  5. Replicate / Duplicate
  6. Radiochemistry
  7. Reference Standard
  8. Line Sample

Once control charts are developed, users can enter response data that is verifiable to be within specified limits. There is an option for a warning, for both users and administrators, if response data is out of limits.

Lab Stats Pack provides detailed reports as follows:

  1. Control Chart
  2. Logbook Entry
  3. Periodic Check
  4. Response Data

Lab Stats Pack also provides a customizable Explorer-type user interface with the capability to create shortcuts and to enter data for multiple instruments on a single form, importing and exporting data, developing new control charts from existing response data, data review, and archiving.
